Biodynamic Philosophy

Originating from a balanced, holistic view of the universe, Biodynamic® farming regards the farm, the plants and animals as a self supporting ecosystem that lives and breathes.  It renders fruits and herbs that are unusually high in nutrients and active compounds then harnesses these potent ingredients into a collection of products that are the ultimate in pureness and results driven skin care.

 

 

 

Modern agriculture robs the land of nutrients and often results in genetically modified ingredients. Choosing organic ingredients ensures that there are no chemicals added and Biodynamic® farming takes it a step further still. Seeds are planted and crops are harvested following the lunar cycle so that when the tides are high, roots receive the most moisture and goodness. It is proven that when they are harvested following this cycle they are higher in nutrients and vitamins, making them active and ideal for use on your skin.  The planting cycle includes rotating crops so nutrients have the opportunity to return to the earth so that each seed planted in the soil will benefit from the healthiest start. A percentage of these seeds are then held back to feed future crops and to be used as seeds for the next harvest. These crops are then nurtured with natural medicinal herbs and mineral composts to enhance the soil, igniting the growth of the plants and infusing ingredients with natural nutrition instead of harmful chemicals. As an alternative to harsh pesticides, the farm uses herbal teas and plant friendly honey traps from local bees as natural insect repellents ensuring that all Biodynamic® ingredients are farmed as naturally as possible.

Our products contain organic and Biodynamic®  grown fruits, vegetables and herbs.

 

It is important to read and understand the labels of the products you use, and with that in mind, there are some ingredients that we avoid. Our products do not contain harmful chemicals or animal by-products like Parabens, Petrolatum, Mineral Oils, Propylene Glycol or Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. They are not tested on animals and are packaged in environmentally friendly packaging.
